On Saturday, 2nd August 2025, the Diploma in Real Estate Management students from Global Institute of Property Studies undertook a field tour as part of their Entrepreneurship class. The visit was to Mr. Innocent Muculezi's Serena Heights development in Kigo. Mr. Muculezi is a renowned Indigenous Ugandan land and condominium developer, whose impressive track record includes over 100 development projects.

During the visit, Mr. Innocent generously shared his experience and wisdom in managing large-scale real estate developments. The students were hosted at his Serena Heights project, an eight-unit condominium located just a stone’s throw away from the larger Pacific Victorian Project. These projects showcase not only architectural excellence but also strategic planning and sustained business growth.
The highlight of the visit was Mr. Innocent’s engaging session on building goodwill networks, a key asset in executing and sustaining real estate projects. He emphasized the importance of trust, partnerships, and reputation in the real estate sector. He also walked the students through his strategies for financing real estate developments, offering practical tips on accessing and managing project funding.

Moreover, Mr. Innocent outlined the personal and professional strengths required to manage such developments successfully. His insights into staying resilient, adaptable, and visionary deeply resonated with the students, offering real-world context to their classroom learning.

This experience served as an invaluable opportunity for the students to connect theory to practice and gain inspiration from one of Uganda’s leading real estate entrepreneurs. We thank Mr. Innocent for his time, generosity, and mentorship.
